When zooming in there looks to be something quite solid at the bottom rather than just the strands of crystal as described.
There are around 40 drops of crystals hanging from the ceiling plate. In the centre of these is a chrome cylinder housing twelve halogen lamps.
By positioning the lamps in the crystal assembly, (rather than above), the crystal sparkles and the lamps are easy to change.

Can the drop be altered so it doesn't hang so low?
With patience you can adjust the length of all suspensions and the electrical flex to suit lower ceilings. We'd suggest that shortening each element a fixed length to make this an easier task.
