As unusual as its name, this Kapow designer pendant shade is made from a mass of spirals and twists of tubular mesh. A funky fitting ideal for many rooms. Designed by Tina Leung for Innermost.

Please note this is a non electrical shade and fits on your existing flex. A flex and ceiling rose can be purchased separately (see below) if required.

Can this light be used with a dimmer switch? Also if the light was left on all night would it be afire hazard with the bulb covered or in close proximity to all of the net stuff? I was thinking of using this in my childs bedroom. Many thanks. The Kapow is designed for use with an energy saving lamp. CFL energy saving lamps get hot but are not hot enough to be a fire hazard. So yes it can be used in any location. Most CFL lamps are not dimmable on standard domestic equipment however we do have some dimmable CFL lamps. Use the search box above.

Does this light conform to British safety standards for contract use (restaurant)? This fitting is CE marked. The nylon material used in its construction has also been tested for heat resistance when used in conjunction with a compact fluorescent lamp (as directed) which is available upon request.

Hello, what a fab light! Please could you confirm if the maximum 20W bulb is a 20w energy saver (so equivalent to 100w+ "old style" ) or whether you mean 20w old style? Yes the product is designed for use with a low energy (low heat) compact fluorescent lamp. So 20w is the same as a 100 watt tungsten lamp.
