Modern looking over sized downlight, with a cut out diameter 110mm this product is suitable for replacing R63 and R80 downlights together with R50 eyeball and smaller R63 eyeball downlights.

The cast alloy bezel comes in a range of finishes including powder coated White paint and Polished Brass, Polished Chrome, Satin Nickel, and Satin Silver metal finishes. The highly polished aluminum reflector is silver on all versions.

With the lamp pushed back into the fitting, it gives off less glare and a nicer light

Hi, is this product suitable for zone 1? This product doesn't actually have an IP rating, so we wouldn't recommend putting this fitting anywhere in the bathroom.

I want to replace 4 R80s in a Kitchen, I'd prefer something brighter if possible. Should I go for the mains or 12V version? 12v lamps give 20 % more then mains lamps. Mains lamps are just easier to install.

What is the max wattage rating for the 12 v version of this? 50w is the maximum rating.

Can you tell me what the equivalent of a Modern lamp for the Tilt Downlight is in relation to a standard incandescent bulb? A 12v MR16 lamp with a 60 degree (wide flood) will give the broad spread of light you would associate with a tungsten reflector lamp. We use this lamp in our 12 volt kit ;o)

Is this fitting fire rated? No this fixture is open at the back so is not fire-rated. It can however be used with a fire hood if fire rating is necessary for your installation.

I'd like to buy some of your Low Glare Tilt Downlight oversize fittings to go in the top floor ceiling of a building, protruding into loft space.
