I intend to install 6 DILVT-C downlights in my kitchen. Do you supply transformers to suit & how many would I need to complete a safe installation? The transformer listed below as a related accessory is suitable. You will require one transformer per luminaire.

I have a very low (c2mtrs) ceiling in a room attached to my cottage and the ceiling is made if T&G boards. Can you recommend suitable down lighters, bearing in mind the ceiling in this room is only the width of an 18c joist away from the floor above and my wish to keep my hair? Unless you are cutting a hole into a fire compartment you do not need to use a fire rated downlight. In this situation (low ceiling, no fire compartment) we suggest a standard downlight with 12v 60 degree dichroic lamp. This will give a wide spread of light and reduce the heat on your pate. NB If you have any insulation in the roof void call us for advice on the best approach.
