A sensational themed chandelier that uses four tiers of light bulbs to disperse and distribute the light from a single central hanging lamp.

When used with a clear lamp the chandelier makes a very interesting pattern on the walls with huge bulb shadows.

This chandelier comes complete with Osram bulbs - forty seven of them! So spare lamps won't be too much of an issue for a number of years.

While this chandelier is a celebration of the old A shape GLS bulb you can use an energy saving lamp in the centre and preserve the planet whilst celebrating the Edison light bulb.

Out of the box this chandelier hangs 1100mm from the ceiling. This can be reduced for lower ceilings but we would suggest that 750mm is the lowest suspension recommended to avoid losing the effect of the light.

Hello Could you let me know if I can use a 100 watt bulb in this chandelier instead of a 40 watt? The chandelier is designed to use a 40w lamp, the stated max wattage should never be exceeded to avoid reducing the life of the fixture. However the philips 42w halogen lamp gives the light of a sixty watt lamp and this would cause no problems. In addition if a CFL (compact fluorescent lamp) were used in place of a standard incandescent then a greater lumen to wattage ratio can be achieved, thus giving more light. Please follow the link provided in the product specification next to spare lamps.

Could you tell me whether this would be suitable for hanging above a dining table? I was a little concerned about the shadows created as this seemed rather distracting. Would this not happen if a frosted lamp was used? Using a frosted lamp would soften the shadow effect of the lamps. That said our image shows the light effect when positioned close to a wall - which is unrepresentative of the average home. The chandelier looks great over a dining table.
