Moni Surface Light by Flos

Achille Castiglioni (co-designer of Flos's Arco) designed this surface mounted wall and ceiling light in 1982.

We really like it because when used in awkward areas it provides something a little different and adds interest to a flat walls and ceilings.

The light effect is created by a cage that surrounds the lamp. Direct light comes through the sandblasted glass disc in front of the lamp. Indirect light is directed back to the wall or ceiling by the dished aluminium reflector. The result is very pleasant.

Construction details

Gloss white powder-coated pressed aluminium reflector.
Steel cage around lamp to create starburst effect.
Front shade consists of sand-blasted glass and a clear glass lens.
Matt black painted die-cast aluminium ceiling fitting and gloss white powder-coated pressed aluminium rose.

Thermally tested and passed for use with 150w E27 halogen lamps, however you are encouraged to use eco halogen lamps to save energy. A 105w ecohalo lamp is supplied with this fitting.
