please can you tell me if this light fitting is compatible with a standard dimmer switch. This fitting is designed to take energy saving lamps (Compact fluorescent lamps) and as such is not dimmable.

Could you tell us what the minimum and maximum height range for the 4 lamp version of this pendant is? It can be shortened to 500mm, that would then allow it to pull down to 1000mm.
