Kevin McCloud, Sarah Beeny, Kirstie Allsop, Phil Spencer, Andrew Winter and Amanda Lamb would all want these lights in their bathroom. OK that’s a supposition but who would not want soft subtle mood lighting filling their bathroom with coloured light that can be changed at the press of a button? Best of all ceiling mounted “colour kinetic” lighting is a fraction of the cost of colour hydrotherapy kits.
Colour Therapy is reported as a natural system of healing that used the energy of the spectrum colours to harmonise and balance the mind, body and spirit.
How does colour therapy work?
It is appears to be based on the philosophy that we need exposure to the full spectrum of colours found in sunlight to be healthy. We’re not to sure how coloured light entering the eyes travels to the pituitary, the master gland of the endocrine system and affects our entire metabolism. But apparently it does and the doctors who claim this suggest coloured lights have all sorts of healing powers and have lots of letters after their name including B.Ed, Dip. C.Th, MIAC, MCI and one has written 8 books on the subject so perhaps it is more than smoke and mirrors with soft comforting words..
Bottom line
The use of LED lights makes colour changing an option for any budget and it looks pretty cool.
