Lighting Styles has been asked for battery operated mirrors for some time so we undertook an exercise to design a high quality mirror that can be installed by anyone in any location. The result is a mirror that gives a significant amount of light but does not require new batteries every week (with cheaper models you will be replacing the batteries frequently).
Installation could not be simpler - two screws are all it takes, located at the top and bottom of the pole. Insert the batteries (supplied) and push the chrome button located on the back of the mirror.
This button is also used to control the mirrors three step dimmer. Pressed once the mirror will be fully illuminated, pressed a second time this will reduce the brightness by a third, pressed a third time reduces it by a further third and then the fourth press turns off the mirror completely.
The single arm attached to the backing rod measures 165mm and can rotate left and right. The mirror also slides up and down the rod which is great if you have members of your household who differ in height.
When fully extended the mirror protrudes 245mm from the wall but folds back snugly to 62mm when not required.
The mirrored glass itself will rotate left and right and contains nine super bright LEDs. Batteries are located at the back of the mirror face making change the batteries easy.
