Can you tell me whether the diffuser is opaque? I don't want to be able to see the bulb as you can on some lights. You say that the Philips SES CFL will fit. Is that true of the 11w version?
The diffuser on this over mirror light is frosted and therefore there should not be an issue with you being able to see the lamps inside. The fitting requires 2 small edison screw lamps, the Philips CFL lamp will fit however we would recommend the 28w Philips eco candle lamp.

I would be grateful if you would tell me the lux level and Watt value?
This fixture uses standard candle lamps so with two two standard 40w lamps the total output is 80 watts. This is around 1,100 lumens.
Using better lamps gives better results and a crisper white light so consider using a Philips ECO Classic Lamp.
