Switch Plates
Light switch plates were once strictly just a practical item, merely a piece of hardware that enabled you to turn on the light. There were not something that you would give much thought to.

Now that the homeowner is keen to individualize and modernize their home manufacturers are keen to manufacture every type of switch plate that one could desire.

There are many difference finishes and styles available from the Trade Marked Invisible Light Switch from Forbes and Lomax to the gun metal flat plate variety.

Lamps (bulbs)
Light bulbs and lamps from a variety of manufacturers - Osram, GE, Sylvania to name a few. There are thousands of different bulb types and Lighting Styles tends to stock only the lamps for the products we sell. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions.

Transformers
Low voltage lamps are not wired directly to the mains. A transformer is used to reduce the current to 12v. Transformers are available in a variety of different wattages but Lighting Styles recommends using one transformer per lamp/fitting as this makes replacement of a faulty transformer easier. New style electronic transformers are much more reliable than their predecessors and many of our transformers carry a 5-year guarantee.
