Simple retrofit, plugs into most standard GU10 mains downlights, spotlights and track lights.

High output intense light comes from the 3 x 1w philips LEDs in this lamp. The lampbeam angle is 25º and comes in 3000ºk (white).

No heat (infrared) and no UV (ultraviolet) in the light beam, and very little heat at the lamp.

Unlike fluorescent lamps there's no mercury making it easier to lower your carbon footprint with a limited life cycle impact.

Same lamp cap as a GU10 lamp. Same size as a standard GU10 lamp.

Can be retrofitted onto standard GU10 mains lamp installations using existing mains wiring. This lamp is also dimmable (down to 20%) if your installation meets the minimum load of your dimmer.

How many of these bulbs would you recommend for a bathroom 2.4x2.4x2.4m? Four should be perfect. You could use 5 in a domino arrangement if there is no natural light.

Using 5 of these lamps with the Richmond dimmer (suggested in your help on dimmers) such as CK400SS will dim to 12W versus the total of 15W for 5 lamps. Is the dimming of the LEDs linear of non linear? i.e. would they only dim to 80%? Are you aware of a dimmer that goes down to say 5W> The comment about Richmnd dimmers is a generic guide and not specific to this lamp. Our gut feel is that a load of 15 watts will work on a standard 250 or 400 w dimmer. But there's only one way to find out. There are specific transformers and dimmers being developed to help where Led lamps are being used in existing lighting configurations. We can look into this more for you if you wish - call our technical line and ask for David.

We bought eleven of these to fit to an extension with standard dimmers as described. They don't dim, only flicker! Do the 11 LED lamps add up to the minimum load of your dimmer? 11 LED lamps would have a total load of 33 watts. What is the minimum load of your dimmer module? Call our technical support line and we'll work out a solution with you.

Can you supply this lamp to connect to a 110 volt supply? Anything is possible as long as it it commercially viable. E27 and B22d lamps are readily available in the UK. We can source GU10 base LED lamps in 100v if the quantity makes it worthwhile. Please call the office with your needs.
