I want colour lighting in my shower room - are these lamps suitable for use with your 2 piece downlighters ref sam dl 805 which i have already purchased Yes they are suitable for use with the SAMDL805, however be aware that these LED lamps are meant for decorative purposes as they do not produce huge amounts of light in comparison with the halogen.

I have bought this lamp with the Adjustable IP65 Bathroom Downlight. Do I need to buy a driver to power this lamp in the Adjustable IP65 Bathroom Downlight ref: SAM10472? These retrofit lamps require a 12v supply either from an A/C transformer or D/C driver. If only one lamp is connected we would suggest a driver i.e MIK1275 as the load is too low to work on a standard A/C transformer. That said this LED lamp uses "T type " diodes and is not very bright. If it's not bright enough, or produces poor quality light come back to us for advice on what lamp to use.
