The reflector lamp has been around for a number of years and is still often used for spotlighting when a broader, softer spread of light is required. PAR lamps with more intense light beams and metal halide lamps with their longer life spell the end of this lamp in retail but it is still a viable lamp for domestic and specialist applications.
Remember dimming a reflector lamp will double the lamp life and reduce running costs.
We only offer the Philips version of this lamp - the performance is unbeatable. This lamp also has a tapered shape which makes it easier to remove from enclosed light fixtures than the traditional shape.

Leading edge phase cut dimmer Good quality leading edge dimmers can be used on wire-wound transformers and compatible electronic transformers. If audible noise is produced we suggest you change to good quality dimmer from Richmond Lighting.
