The use of clear candles is recommended when using clear glass luminaires or crystal chandeliers to achieve real sparkle. However clear lamps in this format are unlikely to be around forever and by 2016 the likely hood is that only candle lamps that use a halogen capsule will be available.
These lamps are from Crompton have a 1000 hour lamp life and are internally fused for safety.
